This tour covers about 6 miles over the day. The pace is comfortable with regular breaks, but comfortable walking shoes are absolutely essential. If you have mobility concerns, consider our private tour option with transportation included.
The tour runs rain or shine! Most of the tour is indoors (Colosseum, Vatican Museums, churches), and we provide tips for staying dry during outdoor portions.
The dome climb isn't included in the tour timing, but you're welcome to stay and climb it after the tour concludes (additional €8-10 fee, 551 steps or elevator partway).
