We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (April-October). Popular tours like Vatican early access and Colosseum arena floor can sell out weeks ahead. For last-minute bookings, contact us directly—we'll do our best to accommodate you based on availability.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before your tour receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations 4-7 days before receive a 50% refund, 1-3 days receive 25%, and less than 24 hours receive no refund. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to our email. See our full Terms of Service for details.
Yes! Changes made more than 7 days before your tour are free (subject to availability). Changes 4-7 days before incur a €25 rescheduling fee. Changes less than 4 days before are treated as cancellations. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss modifications.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers. Payment is processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant processors. For bookings more than 7 days out, a 30% deposit secures your reservation with the balance due 7 days before the tour.
It depends on the tour. Most of our premium tours include skip-the-line tickets and entrance fees. Golf cart tours and walking tours may not include museum entries. Check the tour description or contact us to confirm what's included in your specific tour package.
No, gratuities for guides are not included in the tour price and are at your discretion. While not required, it's customary to tip 10-15% for exceptional service. Your guide works hard to create an unforgettable experience, and tips are greatly appreciated.
Vatican early access allows you to enter the Vatican Museums before they open to the general public, giving you an intimate experience with the Sistine Chapel and other masterpieces without crowds. It's absolutely worth it—you'll have the Sistine Chapel virtually to yourself for peaceful contemplation and stunning photos (where permitted). This is our most popular tour.
The Vatican enforces a strict dress code. Both men and women must have shoulders and knees covered—no shorts, short skirts, sleeveless tops, or low-cut clothing. You may be denied entry if not appropriately dressed. We recommend lightweight, breathable fabrics during summer. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.
No, photography and videography are strictly prohibited in the Sistine Chapel. Guards actively enforce this rule, and violators may be asked to leave. You can take photos in other areas of the Vatican Museums, but flash photography is generally not allowed to protect the artwork.
Our standard Vatican tour lasts approximately 3 hours, covering the Vatican Museums, Raphael Rooms, Gallery of Maps, and Sistine Chapel. Half-day tours (4-5 hours) include St. Peter's Basilica and may include the dome climb. Full-day tours (7-8 hours) add Vatican Gardens or combine with other Rome attractions.
Arena floor access allows you to walk on the actual ground where gladiators once fought—an area not open to general ticket holders. You'll also access the underground chambers (hypogeum) where gladiators and animals waited before entering the arena. It's an exclusive, unforgettable perspective of ancient Rome.
Yes! Children love the Colosseum, especially with our engaging storytelling guides who bring gladiator battles to life. Kids under 6 enter free. The tour involves stairs and walking on uneven ancient surfaces, so children should be supervised. We can tailor the pace and content to keep younger guests engaged.
Meeting points vary by tour and are specified in your confirmation email (typically near the attraction entrance). Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. Unfortunately, if you arrive late, we cannot guarantee you'll catch up with the group, and no refund will be provided. Contact us immediately if you're running late—we'll try to assist.
Most tours involve 2-4 hours of walking and standing on cobblestones, stairs, and uneven terrain. Vatican tours cover approximately 4-5 miles. We maintain a comfortable pace with breaks. If you have mobility concerns, consider our golf cart tour or contact us about accessible options. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.
Accessibility varies by attraction. The Vatican Museums have elevators and wheelchair access, though some areas are challenging. The Colosseum has limited wheelchair access, and the arena floor/underground are not accessible. Roman Forum paths are uneven and difficult for wheelchairs. Contact us before booking to discuss specific accessibility needs—we'll recommend the best options.
All our tours are conducted in English by default. We can arrange tours in Italian, Spanish, French, German, and other languages upon request (subject to guide availability and may incur additional fees). Specify your language preference when booking.
Tours operate rain or shine! Most of our time is spent indoors at museums and monuments. Bring an umbrella and weatherproof clothing if rain is forecast. Tours are only cancelled in extreme weather conditions for safety reasons. If we cancel due to weather, you'll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Yes, bring a valid photo ID (passport or EU national ID card). Some attractions require ID verification for reduced-price tickets. You may also need ID for hotel pickups or if booking special access experiences. Keep it secure in a money belt or secure bag.
Bring comfortable walking shoes, water bottle (refillable at Rome's many fountains), sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, appropriate clothing for Vatican dress code, small backpack or bag (large bags may not be allowed in attractions), camera (but not for Sistine Chapel), and cash for tips or snacks. Leave valuables at the hotel.
